Knee Joint Replacement – Phase 2


Rehabilitation time frames will differ between patients following surgery and will depend on pain levels. It is very important that you get your knee moving early following surgery.

Phase 2 exercises can start 2-3 weeks following surgery or as your pain allows

Supine Bridge

Straight Leg Raise

50 x per day

Sit To Stand

3 x 10-15

Muncie Straight Leg Raise

3 x 15

Chair Assisted Squat

3 x 10-15

Chair Assisted Calf Raise

3 x 10-12

Calf Stretch

3 x 30 sec
